Exploring the spaces between worlds and searching for new ways to bridge them.
When seemingly different worlds meet, new perspectives begin to emerge — where classical art encounters modern technology, the physical shifts into the digital, and past and present enter into dialogue.
In my work, I explore these transitions and look for ways to make them visible and tangible. The result is spaces and experiences where different times, perspectives, and realities can overlap and merge.
Work Between Realities
Augmented Reality
Augmented Reality adds new digital layers to everyday spaces and experiences.
Playful face filters and interactive photo moments invite visitors to become part of the experience themselves. AI-generated 3D objects bring personal ideas into the physical world, while location-based historical content makes stories from the past visible directly at the places where they happened.
In this way, AR connects information, interaction, and playful exploration with the physical environment.
Virtual Reality
Virtual spaces open up new ways of experiencing familiar places, moments, and ideas.
A virtual gallery brings classical artworks into motion and connects different cultural perspectives within one shared space. A digital nature environment, built entirely from scanned elements of the real world, transforms nature into a walkable virtual experience. A 360° time-travel project brings a past festival moment back to life at the very place where it originally happened, connecting memory and the present through VR.
Together, these projects explore how VR can bring different worlds, times, and experiences together in new ways.
Mixed Reality
Mixed Reality can become a meeting point between past and present, where digital elements reshape the way physical spaces are experienced.
Across the projects, architectural and cultural fragments from different periods appear within a contemporary theatre courtyard, while the lost parts of a medieval building rise again above its preserved ruins. The result is a layered experience in which history and the present can be explored together in the same space.
Projects
aka Achka.
I like working in the spaces where different disciplines collide. My journey has moved from graphic design and marketing through architecture and construction to Experimental Media and immersive technologies — and each field has shaped the way I approach ideas today.
I’m interested in reimagining the familiar: adding digital layers to physical places, bringing fragments of the past back into the present, or creating new encounters between art and technology. My work moves between concept, design, and technical implementation, often driven by experimentation and curiosity for tools I haven’t used before.
The most exciting projects rarely grow in isolation. I enjoy exchanging ideas, mixing perspectives, and seeing what can emerge when different people, disciplines, and realities meet.
