VR Gallery - Live Art
Setúbal, Portugal 2024
This experimental VR project explores the meeting of different cultures, styles, and media. Classical artworks are experienced in a new reality and placed within a new context. Through AI-generated videos, the paintings are brought to life, revealing how AI interprets human-made art and translates it into motion.
The exhibition space itself was intentionally kept minimal, allowing the animated artworks to remain the main focus. Since all team members came from different countries, the heart of the circular gallery featured artworks from our respective cultural backgrounds, alongside 3D-scanned sculptures from Setúbal, where the project was developed. In this way, different cultural perspectives came together through the shared language of art within one virtual space.
I was responsible for the spatial design and the assembly of the entire project in Unity.
